WHRT Will Broadcast Live From Midnight Volleyball!!

On November 19th at 10:00 PM the class of 2015 Student Government Class board is presenting a campus wide volleyball tournament named Midnight Volleyball. This event will be DJ’d by Kieran McGirl of the Time To Mo Vaughn Show. This will be the first live broadcast from an event of the year.  WHRT DJ and webmaster Kieran McGirl of the Time to Mo Vaughn Show, which airs on Sundays from 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM, was voted WHRT’s best looking DJ!! He is a sophomore at Sacred Heart and is a member of the Football and Club Basketball teams. He is also the Vice President of the Sophomore Class. The poll was conducted on this website over the last week and Kieran received 90% of the vote

WHRT Meeting Thursday at 10:10

This Thursday all members and any prospective members of WHRT are asked to meet in the TV Studio for a mandatory meeting on Thursday October 4, 2012. Here we will discuss our new software and try and get some of these shows off the ground. All DJ’s are asked to be prepared to pose for a picture for our Meet the DJ’s page and prepare a two to three sentence article introducing yourself and giving a synopsis for your show. WHRT Ranks Among Nations Best College Radio Stations

This years Princeton Review was recently released. Coming in as the nations 14th best radio station was Sacred Heart University’s own WHRT “The Heart” This is the University’s third consecutive year being ranked by the review. A special thanks goes out to all who made this ranking a possibility.

WHRT Ushering in a new ERA in SHU Radio

This year WHRT is being taken over by a whole new team of Students. Starting at the top with the brand new Executive board!! From last years Hit Shows the Vinny Ebenau Show and Happy Hour, Joe Berry(President) and Vinny Ebenau (Vice President/ Technical Producer) head the WHRT along with Marcel Subey (Events and Promotions) and Webmaster Kieran McGirl.
