Show: Rhyme For The Summertime
Host: Kaila Munkwitz
Show Time: Monday 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM
Bio: My name is Kaila Munkwitz. I am 19 years old and grew up in Bay Shore, NY (Long Island). My show is on every Monday from 5-7 PM and is named Rhyme for the Summertime. Growing up in Long Island and being surrounded by an uncle and his friends that surfed almost every weekend, my music choice ranges from punk to rock to reggae and even rap. Pandora is a blessing and I listen to it almost every day. I love expanding my music library with all types of music. Discovering and sharing new artists with my friends is one of the reasons why I wanted to do a radio show.
Show Synopsis: The name Rhyme for the Summertime is inspired by a G. Love and Special Sauce song. G. Love did a tour with my favorite artist, Jack Johnson, who is originally from Hawaii. My show will range from rock to punk to reggae and definitely alternative, but you will never have to worry about hearing “Call Me Maybe” on my show. Some of the artists you will hear are Mumford & Sons, John Butler Trio, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Andrew Belle, Ben Harper and of course, Jack Johnson(and so many more). Most of the songs you will hear have some type of tie to my summertime experiences and memories and I hope you will be able to sit back, relax and reminisce over your past summers as well.

Geoff on the other hand has aspirations of one day not hating his job.
Show Synopsis: Geoff and Ryan have a wide range of music taste and seek to share their love of music with listeners. Their show will have character to it, and will feature banter, and social commentary. It will have a very loose format and take many liberties (except cursing.) We kind of want to have the freedom to do whatever we want, so that’s why we don’t want to be too specific. And we hope you’re as surprised as we will be during the show.
Show: The Half Wits
Hosts: Keaton, Colbie, Nick
Show Times: Tuesday 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM
Bio: Keaton Mangi was born and grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York. Ever since he was a little boy he has been wary of his amazing flexibility. At his Sacred Heart orientation his act in a talent show was the ability to get both his feet behind his neck. This was a surprising successful talent and the audience favored him over the other contestants, including the girl who sang the national anthem without once opening her mouth. He is a runner and a lover, very comparable to Forrest Gump but his brain is fully functioning. His taste in music is wide spread and he isn’t afraid to shy away from most genres always picking the best artists and tracks. Some days he time travels back to the 60’s for long rock ballets, and later that day you can find him immersed in the musical styling of todays up and coming hip-hop artists. He is goofy in a lovable way, very comparable to the character Goofy, and wants nothing more than to share the greatest of all forms of music to other people.
Nick Haile, also known as Starfox yes Starfox, is a freshman here at SHU who was born and raised in Merrick Long Island. (Still part of New York, even though they thoroughly believe they are their own entity.) He isn’t smart enough to a typical long island resident, which is surprisingly difficult but turns out to be a good thing, and he is a fairly agreeable person. He might suffer from undiagnosed Voice Immodulation Syndrome, (It might not be real) as he struggles regularly to control the pitch and volume of his voice. His musical tastes include the latest in the electronic music but he is also found of musical styling from the 1970’s. He might struggle to comprehend normal everything things like tying shoes or brushing teeth, but his musical versatility makes him relatable to normal people. Nick is the reason for “Half” in the title of the broadcast.
Born and raised in North Haven, CT (Yawn). Colby is an academically excelling student who’s major is accounting (He’s not boring, we promise) He is musically more inclined towards electronic and house music, but that’s just a sign that he likes to party. However, on more somber days you’ll find him sitting, or sulking, listening to the likes of Third Eye Blind and other alternative 90s bands. Colby enjoys Sunday morning long run, and dressing up in bowties (He can tie them all by himself) he is trendy but never afraid to dawn short shorts when the moment calls. Colby’s many talents include, ice fishing, sailing (the straight kind), and he is avid sign collector.
Show Synopsis: Have you ever wondered what it would be like if there was a radio show hosted by a couple of off the wall guys who love a wide range of musical styles? Well the Half Wits radio show is just that. We will be playing every musical style you can think of from Alternative rock to World music, plus you get a mix of our awesome personalities. I mean who wouldn't want to listen to three of the most chillest hosts around. So tune in, listen and enjoy the good vibes.

Show : BRN Radio
Hosts : Nico Romano, John Bogdanovic, Samantha Jarmek
Show Time : Sunday 9pm - 11pm
BIOS: NICO ROMANO, founder of the show, was born in 1992 in New York, and currently resides in New Jersey. He is a sophomore at Sacred Heart University and a proud member of Greek Life on campus. As he grew up playing football and competitive golf, Nico naturally developed a love for sports. Even though he doesn't play music on the radio, he's a huge fan for a variety of music genres, and enjoys playing the bass guitar. As a media studies major, he hopes to have his own radio show one day while pursuing a career as an analyst for ESPN. Although he is known by many for his humor and voice impersonations, Nico is a very ambitious student who desires future success in a field that he loves.
JOHN BOGDANOVIC, co-host of the show, is a sophomore at Sacred Heart. John, also known as Ricky, was born in 1993 in Los Angeles, California. When he was young, he moved to Rhode Island, where his father introduced him to the game of tennis. Quickly falling in love with the sport, John entered many tournaments throughout his childhood gaining experience, which resulted in a scholarship and his admittance into Sacred Heart. He has always been a big fan of outdoor recreation and enjoys fishing and golfing as well. John, who is also a member of Greek Life on campus, received the nickname "Ricky" from Nico and other fraternity brothers because he looks a lot like the pro golfer, Ricky Fowler. John cannot go a day without music, and mostly enjoys listening to Hip Hop. John is never a serious person, which makes his personality ideal for BRN. He is admired for his ability to make anyone laugh regardless of the circumstances. He aspires to work for ESPN as a play by play announcer or commentator.
SAMANTHA JARMEK, co-host of the show, is also a sophomore at Sacred Heart. She was born in Port Washington, New York, and currently resides there to this day. She is a business administration major with a focus in marketing, which is no surprise considering she possesses exceptional organization and social skills. Sam is the type of girl who is always fun to be around. She's constantly making others laugh even when she isn't trying, which makes her presence on the show a necessity. She loves to sing, and will usually belt out a tune multiple times a day, regardless of where she is. The comical insanity her co-host's display over the airwaves attract many listeners, but the show would not be the same without the classy and humorous personality of Sam.
SHOW SYNOPSIS : BRN Radio, which is a talk show founded by Sacred Heart University's popular MC Nico Romano, first aired in 2011. Along with his two co-hosts Brian Drapeau and John (Ricky) Bogdanovic, Nico Romano introduced Sacred Heart University to its first strictly comedy talk show. After only a few shows that consisted of nonstop hysteria, BRN radio quickly became a very popular show, reaching an audience beyond just Sacred Heart University's students. The title of the show, BRN, stands for the first names of the hosts, Brian Ricky Nico. Even after Brian Drapeau transferred schools to focus on his future in baseball, the group still decided to keep their original show title. Coming into their second year as talk show hosts, Nico and Ricky chose Samantha Jarmek to take the place of Brian. With Sam in the crew, BRN Radio improved the diversity in their humor to reach the ears of many new listeners. Each show consists of comical weekly segments such as "would you rather" and games over the phone with their callers. The show also has a guest of the week, phone taps, competitions, rap battles, giveaways, sports talk, sound board effects, voice impersonations, etc. Every Sunday night, this trio gives their listeners a reason to wake up and smile for that early Monday morning class. You can follow them and keep up with their show on Twitter. Tune in and hear them at WHRT!
